One Piece Live-Action First Impression: All You Need To Know
One Piece will now have a live-action adaptation after a ten-year wait. It will be added to Netflix’s massive streaming library alongside shows like anime and manga. To celebrate the manga’s 20th anniversary, Weekly Shonen Jump head editor Hiroyuki Nakano said that One Piece will be getting a live-action remake roughly six years ago.

The much awaited live action adaptation will finally be released on Netflix on August 31, 2023, as it was previously planned.
