Nushrratt Bharuccha Got Stucked In Israel Amid War With Palestine, Reports Claim She Is Safe Now
Amidst the turmoil of a full-blown war sparked by a terrorist attack by Hamas, Bollywood actor Nushrratt Bharuccha found herself stranded in Israel. Reports initially raised concerns as her team had lost contact with her. However, there is good news to share: Nushrratt Bharuccha has returned to India safely.
Nushrratt Bharuccha’s team, in a statement, confirmed her safety, saying, “We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt, and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home. We did not get a direct flight, so she is on a connecting flight home. For her further safety, more details cannot be shared, but as soon as she lands in India, we will inform you. We are relieved and thank God that she is safe and on her way to India.”
Later, her team provided an update, announcing that the actor had boarded a flight to India and would be landing in Mumbai around 2 pm. Nushrratt Bharuccha’s return marks the end of a concerning chapter for her and her loved ones.
The 38-year-old actor had traveled to Israel to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. She was in Haifa for the maiden screening of her film “Akelli,” a notable event that also featured Israeli actors Tsahi Halevi and Amir Boutrous, known for their roles in the popular web series “Fauda.”
The situation in Israel had escalated rapidly due to Hamas’ rocket attacks on Israeli cities and Tel Aviv’s counterstrike. Tragically, nearly 500 people have lost their lives in the ongoing conflict. In response to these attacks, Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has vowed to avenge what he called a “black day.” He stated, “Hamas has started a brutal and evil war. We will be victorious in this war despite an unbearable price.”
On the other side, amidst the fighting, the state of Palestine issued a statement, emphasizing their warnings against blocking the political horizon and failing to enable the Palestinian people to exercise their legitimate right to self-determination and establish their own state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep shock at the reports of the terrorist attacks in Israel, stating, “We stand in solidarity with Israel at this difficult hour.” Indian citizens in Israel have been urged to remain vigilant and observe safety protocols, with the Indian Embassy advising, “Please exercise caution, avoid unnecessary movement, and stay close to safety shelters.” In the midst of this turbulent situation, Nushrratt Bharuccha’s safe return home serves as a glimmer of hope and relief for her fans and well-wishers.
