1 years ago By Neil Ross

In a recent interview with Vogue Korea, the golden maknae of BTS, Jungkook, shared a candid moment of reflection on his summer experiences. While this season has undoubtedly brought joy to the artist, there’s one particular moment that tugs at his heart—a performance at Suga’s concert during the SUGA | Agust D “D-DAY” Tour. Let’s delve into Jungkook’s sentiments and discover why he feels the need to revisit this moment.

Summer Regret: A Candid Confession

During the interview, Jungkook was asked about his most significant regrets and joys of the summer. While he celebrated the overwhelming reception of his solo debut single, “Seven,” he didn’t shy away from discussing his biggest regret. With a warm chuckle, Jungkook confessed that the regret was associated with his appearance at Suga’s solo concert.

“The first thing that comes to mind—perhaps because it happened recently—is when I appeared at Yoon-gi’s solo concert. I feel like I could’ve done better [laughs]! The happy part is that ‘Seven’ was well-received. ARMY, I love you!” Jungkook expressed.

ARMY: The Driving Force Behind Jungkook

In the midst of his reflections, Jungkook didn’t forget to acknowledge the unwavering support of BTS’s global fanbase, ARMY. He referred to them as his “driving force,” emphasizing that their love, support, and patience are the pillars of his motivation.

“That driving force is undoubtedly the ARMY. I believe I’m here for my fans, who love, support, and wait patiently for me. So I want them to feel proud and special because of me. It’s true that I feel a lot of pressure, but the more pressure I feel, the more I need to act naturally and be myself, I think,” Jungkook humbly stated.

Independence and Growth Through Solo Projects

Jungkook also touched upon the topic of individual growth through solo projects within BTS. He recognized the challenges of being independent in the music industry, highlighting that it teaches valuable lessons, including the art of song recording. It’s clear that Jungkook sees these experiences as opportunities for personal and artistic development.

What Lies Ahead: TikTok Debut and More

The interview shed light on Jungkook’s evolving journey, including his upcoming TikTok debut. With his characteristic forward-looking attitude, he expressed his desire not to lag behind trends, hinting at more exciting content to come on the platform.

Recently, Jungkook wowed fans with a captivating performance of the “Smoke” dance challenge, initially started by V (Kim Taehyung). This gesture, among others, keeps the BTS ARMY consistently delighted and engaged with the youngest member of the group.

Final Thoughts

Jungkook’s heartfelt confession about his performance at Suga’s concert during the summer serves as a reminder of his commitment to perfection and his dedication to ARMY. While he may reflect on this moment as a regret, fans continue to be enamored by his unwavering passion for his craft. With his TikTok debut and other surprises on the horizon, Jungkook’s journey remains as exciting and inspiring as ever.
