All Marvel Studios Movies And TV That Are Yet To Release In 2023

1 years ago By Movies Desk

In 2023, Marvel Studios and Sony have treated fans to an exciting array of cinematic and television experiences, with three noteworthy Marvel movies already gracing the silver screen. Kicking off the year with a bang, “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” marked the inception of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on February 17th. The beloved “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy came to a triumphant close on May 5th with “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.” Following that, on June 2nd, “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” swung into theaters to the delight of Spidey fans everywhere.

However, the Marvel extravaganza is far from over in 2023, with six more highly anticipated Marvel movies and TV shows slated for release before the year’s end. These upcoming projects promise to maintain the momentum Marvel has built throughout the year, offering a diverse range of stories to satisfy fans of all tastes.

1. Loki Season 2 – October 6

First up is “Loki Season 2,” set to premiere on October 6. Fans were teased with a glimpse of what’s to come in a post-credits scene during “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania,” where Tom Hiddleston’s mischievous Loki and Owen Wilson’s Mobius embarked on a quest to find Jonathan Majors’ Kang but instead encountered Victor Timely, one of Kang’s many Variants. The entire cast from Season 1 of the Disney+ series will return for this second installment, marking the first time a live-action MCU show receives a second season. As the release date approaches, marketing efforts have kicked into high gear, including a Miss Minutes-centric poster in July 2023 and an official trailer release on July 31, setting a record for the shortest gap between a live-action MCU Disney+ show’s first trailer and its premiere.

2. The Marvels – November 10

Next on the Marvel calendar is “The Marvels,” arriving in theaters on November 10. This feature film stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel), Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau (Photon). They will join forces with the ever-iconic Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury to confront a destabilized universe. Trailers released in July 2023 provided fans with a glimpse of the movie’s premise and exciting Easter eggs, hinting at connections to “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and a potential cameo by Shang-Chi.

3. Echo – November 29

Then, on November 29, “Echo” will debut on Disney+. This series continues the story of Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez, introduced in “Hawkeye,” and features the return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. What makes “Echo” particularly intriguing is its experimental release strategy, with all six episodes dropping simultaneously. If this approach proves successful, it could pave the way for future Marvel shows to follow suit. Although the plot details of “Echo” remain shrouded in secrecy, a sneak peek at blind-bagged LEGO minifigures revealed a tantalizing glimpse of the titular character’s superhero costume.

4. X-Men ’97 – Fall (Possibly Delayed to 2024)

Lastly, we have “X-Men ’97,” an animated series expected to premiere in the fall, although a delay to 2024 is possible. Serving as a spiritual successor to the beloved 1990s “X-Men: The Animated Series,” this show will place the spotlight on Cyclops and Storm as its central characters, with Wolverine, Rogue, Beast, Nightcrawler, and Jean Grey also making appearances. Although the premiere date is uncertain, a United States copyright update suggested a potential delay to January 3, 2024.

In conclusion, 2023 is shaping up to be a remarkable year for Marvel fans, with a thrilling lineup of movies and TV shows that promise to captivate audiences and expand the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe. From Loki’s mischief to the cosmic adventures of “The Marvels” and the experimental release of “Echo,” Marvel continues to deliver entertainment that keeps fans eagerly anticipating what’s next in the world of superheroes.
